WELCOME BACKK Now today's blog is going to be about editing. Yes filming is key to a movie but editing is what puts everything together. When editing, it gives the essence of adding what the film couldn’t like text. When first recording, I knew a lot of editing would have to be done. In the last video I realized a lot of over recording was done and I knew it was a possibity this time. When getting all of the videos it was seemed to be too much. First I edited each to make them shorter to see if the message in each would still make senses. When editing, if you shorten it, it may take away from the video seeming rushed. Another thing I did was try and change the time. At first I tried to fasten it but then the videos looked a little bit silly. After deciding that fastening and shortening the videos wouldn’t work then I had to take some videos out. Hey guys and welcome back. We have come so far into the blogging industry and for this to be goodbye feels so unreal. It has been a ride and now my last blog is my closing chapter. Here is my CCR and a touch of everything that happened to make me a better media student. Question 1- How does your product challenge or use conventions? Question 1 part 2- How does the project represent social groups or issues? Question 2- How does your product engage with audiences? When coming to filming the music video, the vibes wanted were unknown. The music video for heartbreak anniversary was centered around a couple. It highlighted the good and bad times essentially why they needed to break up. Shows how Giveon was truly heartbroken which is what I wanted to incorporate. When filming, it was better decided to do in one area. It would be more convenient since everyone in the group didn't have a car to drive different places. There were different aspects to the video that was wanted to capture. The first aspect was a couple that looked semi real. Maria and Felipe were the couple used. They are friends so they had friend chemistry which was great. With the first scene, I recorded it sideways which would be perfect for a music video aspect. The shots were wanted to do in one scene or maybe a second one so a lot of space or time wasn't taken up.
