Editing the music video.

 Hey Hey!

When coming down with how to edit, it was to go with the song. The first lyrics of the part we used since we didn't start at the beginning are "Just like the day that I met you." When deciding which video to add in first, I went with the car scene. It was a date kinda vibe showing they just met. Since making the time was tricky, the lyrics should have at least went with the song. Then Giveon says "say that you love me but that will last for never." When filming I decided a fight was needed for editing.

When editing it in even though I had to sped it up it still looked natural. I edited each click to match the lyrics, even when I had to switch the order in the beginning. When decided what was going to be as a cheer up in the video, it was decided on a cake. Due to the heat, the icing of the broken heart melted. I was gonna keep the melted heart to show true heart break but then decided to add an emoji also. With the transitions it was a learning process. I wanted it to look smooth and not choppy like it originally did. I incorporated a fade in and out so that it would go to each scene overlapping each other.

I watched YouTube videos on how to split screen so I could show the car and outside car perspective side by side but decided I would just have them one after another. Also when editing I made sure to mute the original videos because originally I was going to have the fight scene with the original sound but wouldn't go with the sound. I also turned down and up the exposure on some videos depending where it was filmed because of lighting. Overall, the music video is pretty good. A few finishing touches are needed and maybe some changes.
