The production on filming!

When coming to filming the music video, the vibes wanted were unknown. The music video for heartbreak anniversary was centered around a couple. It highlighted the good and bad times essentially why they needed to break up. Shows how Giveon was truly heartbroken which is what I wanted to incorporate. When filming, it was better decided to do in one area. It would be more convenient since everyone in the group didn't have a car to drive different places.

There were different aspects to the video that was wanted to capture. The first aspect was a couple that looked semi real. Maria and Felipe were the couple used. They are friends so they had friend chemistry which was great. With the first scene, I recorded it sideways which would be perfect for a music video aspect. The shots were wanted to do in one scene or maybe a second one so a lot of space or time wasn't taken up. When filming, if filming a scene in the car, one of us filmed outside and whoever was in the car was filming in there also. It was to give two different perspectives especially with the editing. When filming, it was a factor to go early in the day so that others wouldn't be disrupted. A couple was wanted in one of the scenes but after filming a couple of scenes, I decided to take the couple out. A random couple may not have enjoyed and then also once filming it was realized that the scenes I planned were longer. When it came to recording, the music was played in the background so it was easier to know where in the video the filming was taking place.

When filming most of the videos, it was filmed on my phone since it was easier. I have the newest phone and the clearer the video the best. In my next blog I'll be discussing why we filmed at the exact location and more.

See you soon!!!
