Production blog: editing

 WELCOME BACKK Now today's blog is going to be about editing. Yes filming is key to a movie but editing is what puts everything together. When editing, it gives the essence of adding what the film couldn’t like text. When first recording, I knew a lot of editing would have to be done. In the last video I realized a lot of over recording was done and I knew it was a possibity this time.  When getting all of the videos it was seemed to be too much. First I edited each to make them shorter to see if the message in each would still make senses. When editing, if you shorten it, it may take away from the video seeming rushed. Another thing I did was try and change the time. At first I tried to fasten it but then the videos looked a little bit silly. After deciding that fastening and shortening the videos wouldn’t work then I had to take some videos out.  Now each of the videos filmed had an important part to the story it was hard picking which ones. Hey guys and welcome back. We have come so far into the blogging industry and for this to be goodbye feels so unreal. It has been a ride and now my last blog is my closing chapter. Title Research: Murder by Death

 Welcomeeee back!!!! -- What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?  The titles are the title of the movie and production and then it gives the name of all the actors. While it shows the cutouts of the actors it gives their names. The font is a roman, to give a old fashion vibe. Old west type of setting showing few shades of color. Also states anyone who contributed to the film.  -- What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?  The first important image in the corpse on the floor with knives stabbed in their back. Then it shows throughout the opening sequence the reaction of all the actors (cutouts). This is showing that the main lead or mystery is the death of the corpse which was murder. But by who? Some seem shocked and others seem calm.  -- How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from outside?  By the reactions of the actors, it gives a scary/spooky mystery feeling. Who killed the person? Why did they kill them? Am I next?...
