Storyboard

 What's up, buttercups!!! There are many different aspects when it comes to filming. The scenes being right and relevant to the music video is important and its important to have the sketch to see what will be in the video to fix or alter before shooting each scene. Its a guide into any film and is just necessary. For the scenes there are a total of 12. 



Scene 1

The main character is in the car that is decorated from valentines day popping the balloons because of anger. 

Scene 2

 Then it goes into a flashback scene of when the main lead received the gift on valentines day. The car isn't   decorated and looks at the hoodie that was a gift from the ex.

Scene 3

Then it goes into a fight scene. This is when the main lead shows how angry they are and fight with the ex in a public space and throws the hoodie and takes it off.

Scene 4

Then it goes into a flashback of a date they had, before the honeymoon stage was over and they were happy. They're walking around, laughing and just great vibes. 

Scene 5

Then it goes into a reminiscing while seeing another couple. Sees the couple and thinks of the times when main lead and ex were together. 

Scene 6

Is out with some friends and isn't paying attention, she is looking at old pics of her and ex just feeling down. Her friends catch her and tell her to pay attention and get off of her phone.

Scene 7

Then it goes into the friends trying to cheer the main lead up. Focus her on something else besides the ex. Then all the friends and main lead and part ways.

Scene 8

Then the main lead sees her supposed friend with her ex and has a mix of emotions. She feels betrayed and upset and points out to the girl. 

Scene 9

Then this next scene is the confronting one. The main lead confronts her suppose friend for getting with her ex. "How could you do this to me?" and questions like this will be thrown in the argument.

Scene 10

She walks out of the argument being comforted by her real friends. Her friends get her away from the hostile environment. 

Scene 11

Has the friends and main character walking with her with the angle coming in from behind. They have a picnic to talk and vent.

Scene 12

One of the friends comes out with a cake that says "Heartbreak Anniversary" and each friend grabs a cup and gets a piece of cake. It shows them moving on and having fun because she's over him. 


That would conclude all of the scenes but as always things could alter or change during production.

The editing of the production.

 Hey, Hey, welcome back! After recording it was time to piece everything together. The editing app was decided to stick to Capcut. While editing I didn't want to have to learn a new software so Capcut was the best choice. I was already familiar with it so it just made everything simpler.  When deciding on the song we needed one that fit the vibe and when editing I decided to use the semi beginning of the song. The beginning of the song had too much intro while I wanted it straight to the point. I overlapped it a bit though so that it didn't just roughly go into the song without somewhat of an intro. While filming I didn't take into consideration the time limit as I should have. Some of the videos were pretty long in seconds so I had to cut it down. Planning blog: Location, participants, health, and schedule

Welcome back to my blog!  Today I'm going to go even further into the planning of how my group's opening scene came to be. Although planning this was so fun, there was also a lot of layers to it. I'll start by talking about our location. When first discussing about our location, we knew that it would have to be somewhere of a location region as well as a mall where people visit frequently. After conversing about it  we decided on Sawgrass Mall. We were satisfied with that at first the realized that we had an issue.  What we wanted to do would require us to be in a smaller and more confined room. After realizing that, we decided to back on the scratch board and make some compromises. With only a few minutes of deliberating, we decided to use a groupmates' house. Production blog; Filming

 Welcome back!!!!!  Now as stated in the previous blog some hardships were faced. One that I didn't mention was group disagreements. When in a group sometimes tension can run high and be difficult with working with each other. Now even though filming went ok it could have been better. I stated the scheduling made a lot of things difficult which led to some arguments. Now these arguments led tension that were not hashed out until the day of filming. While filming, I wanted our acting to be beyond surface level. This was impossible with the anger that was fueling the room. To be able to film I had to get everything off of the table. Two members weren't seeing eye to eye and in order to not show it while recording a discussion was prompted.
