Choosing my final videos so that my video wasn't clustered was needed. Many of the videos I added were over a minute long. This meant that I had to cut most of the videos into a few seconds so that it would go into my video and fit into the time frame. When deciding the photos I wanted to add, live photos would be a mix with the regular. Live photos show much more emotion which I wanted in my commercial. Emotion doesn't just mean sadness, I wanted the aspect of it showing that I have lots of fun with my friends which really shows me.
For the music nothing changed. I decided on keeping it with one song. If I decided to do another song it would have been confusing. Learning to transition the songs into each other would have proven difficult. The instrumental part of after hours was a great choice as it paired well with the media. I was thinking I should have did dancehall or reggae to show me. Since in the commercial I didn't have anything relating to my family, that the music would have been a push.
The app was a great addition, iMovie maybe have been more difficult so I'm thankful for Capcut. I also before adding the videos had to touch the brightness up a bit. As its that my friends and I hang out at night mostly, that shows up to dark for most too see.
I also decided I wanted to add my mom in because she's a big part of me. At first it was just going to be about my passion career wise and the artist I love the most. Also my friends but including my mom since she's my number one had to be done.
All these aspects have mad me into who I am today. The friends and family would be together so the three segments would not necessary change. The ending will be me and my mom with no music so the silence shows the emotion. Then lastly just myself.
