How I did my research and planning.

When thinking of myself three things come to mind. Firefighting, The Weeknd, and friends/family. That is how I knew what exactly to add into my commercial. I am a person that loves to take pictures and videos to commemorate memories. Yes being present is important but also being able to look back at a time that was fun and special is also great. 


For the commercial I knew I had to add important pictures and this one is super important to me. I picked it because its from my fire competition from this year. Now I didn't perform in the competition because my instructor wanted the best of the best but it was still important because it was my first one since I joined the team during covid. Seeing everyone work together meaning not just my team was motivating. Also seeing girls on the other teams made me realize that just because I'm the only girl on my team doesn't mean I'm alone.


The picture with my EMR certificate was definitely a must add because it is a key to my firefighting. Passing the National Emergency Medical Responder test was just one step closer to my career which helped me prove that I know I can pass EMT and Paramedic school. 




If I have a commercial about my self one thing that will be in the video is my love for Abel. The Weeknd or his government name which is what I call him Abel is a must. I chose this picture from the concert because going to his concert was indeed the best day of my life. I had wanted to go for years but wasn't old enough until last year. Abel is half of me and if he wasn't included in the video then it would be incomplete. This is also why I chose his song for my background.

I have many favorite songs by Abel but only one came to mind when picking a song. After hours is my all time favorite song by Abel and was just the best to pick with the intermission no talking music only part in the middle of the song to break it up. 




My friends are super important to me. They help me feel complete and bring me joy and feelings of being wanted. Even though I am a home body I love hanging out with the right people because they always put a smile on my face. 

Now in the video it won't be in this particular order but these pictures will definitely be added along side more. I plan on adding the pictures and videos in the order of Firefighting, Abel, then my friends and it may be separated by each set of friends. The song is gonna overlap on the photos and be lowered with the videos so the audios are heard from the video.

The editing of the production.

 Hey, Hey, welcome back! After recording it was time to piece everything together. The editing app was decided to stick to Capcut. While editing I didn't want to have to learn a new software so Capcut was the best choice. I was already familiar with it so it just made everything simpler.  When deciding on the song we needed one that fit the vibe and when editing I decided to use the semi beginning of the song. The beginning of the song had too much intro while I wanted it straight to the point. I overlapped it a bit though so that it didn't just roughly go into the song without somewhat of an intro. While filming I didn't take into consideration the time limit as I should have. Some of the videos were pretty long in seconds so I had to cut it down. Planning blog: Location, participants, health, and schedule

Welcome back to my blog!  Today I'm going to go even further into the planning of how my group's opening scene came to be. Although planning this was so fun, there was also a lot of layers to it. I'll start by talking about our location. When first discussing about our location, we knew that it would have to be somewhere of a location region as well as a mall where people visit frequently. After conversing about it  we decided on Sawgrass Mall. We were satisfied with that at first the realized that we had an issue.  What we wanted to do would require us to be in a smaller and more confined room. After realizing that, we decided to back on the scratch board and make some compromises. With only a few minutes of deliberating, we decided to use a groupmates' house. Production blog; Filming

 Welcome back!!!!!  Now as stated in the previous blog some hardships were faced. One that I didn't mention was group disagreements. When in a group sometimes tension can run high and be difficult with working with each other. Now even though filming went ok it could have been better. I stated the scheduling made a lot of things difficult which led to some arguments. Now these arguments led tension that were not hashed out until the day of filming. While filming, I wanted our acting to be beyond surface level. This was impossible with the anger that was fueling the room. To be able to film I had to get everything off of the table. Two members weren't seeing eye to eye and in order to not show it while recording a discussion was prompted.
